The Rise of e-Applications
CyberRoute Pioneer in Application Services Provision
Cyberroute is proud to have come with the idea of hosted services in 1998. The idea was to deliver software as a service. We think users should be able to use software like they use water from a TAP. Our concepts have been published in the press releases of Lucent technologies, IBM, AVAYA and documents generated by Microsoft.
For the actual implementation of this the leading vendors of the time (lucent technologies, IBM & Sun Microsystems) were invited to cooperate in the realization of the idea. On December 1998 an agreement WAS SIGNED between lucent and cyberroute for this purpose and Lucent accepted to be the main contractor. Full documentation was prepared and the server farms was established with the participation of Microsoft and applications were first introduced on may 2000.

From ASP to Cloud
Cloud Computing Next Generation of ASP:
Cloud computing is the delivery of computing and
storage capacity as a service to a community of end-recipients. The name comes from the use of a cloud-shaped symbol as an abstraction for the complex infrastructure it contains in stem diagrams. Cloud computing entrusts services with a user's data, software and computation over a network. There are three types of cloud computing:
1. Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS),
2. Platform as a Service (PaaS),
3. Software as a Service (SaaS).
